Microsoft Surface Pro 周辺装置

大分操作にも慣れてきましたがまだまだです。確かに新しいOSの割には（言い方だ悪いですが）軽い印象を受けます。

外部デバイスを色々試してもました。

１．miniＳＤＸＣカード

    ６４ＧＢメモリは問題無く使用できました。

２．外付けポータブルDVDドライブ

３．LANアダプター

USB ２．０接続のギガビット対応LANアダプターです。

USBに指すだけで使用できます。

有線LANで使用するときに便利です。私は意外と使用する機会が多いです。

Microsoft Surface Pro セットアップ（Windows8Pro）

購入後、ホテルにて早速セットアップしました。Windows8でTabletマシンは初めてです。緊張してまずは説明書も読まず充電を行い１時間繰りしてからクラシックキーボードを取り付けパワーオン。TabletにSurfaceの文字が浮かびその後設定に入ります。何となく今までの立ち上げと変わらない感じです。但し、このマシンの設定は日本語はデフォルトでは有りません。よって、英語で立ち上げその後、日本語に変更になります。

 

基本セットアップ終了後、日本語のセットアップを行う。

日本語になりました。

セットアップは思ったより簡単にできました。Windows９５時代から比べると格段に進歩です。（年を取ったシルバーエンジニアの感想です）

いつも思うことですが、マイクロソフトの言語の変更はWindows8で大分楽に出来るようになりました。しかし、一部は残っています。これが何ともいえないところです。

Microsoft Surface Pro 購入（日本未発売：Windows8Pro）

先日、アメリカに行った際にたまたま発売の初日でした。思わず興味が有ったので列に並び購入しました。実は前日にマイクロソフトストアにて実機を拝見して何となく欲しくなりました。

購入したのは、サンノゼのマイクロソフトストアです。開店の３０分前に行きましたが既に２０人ほど並んでました。開店時には更に２～３倍になり店舗に入れたのは開店から４０分は過ぎていました。ちなみにこの場所の前にはアップルストアも有りここは開店と同時にそれなりに人が入っていました。

購入したのは、本体、オプションでクラシックキーボードと外部モニターアダプターです。キーボードは２種類有り、ラバー製では無いタイプです。

従来のタブレットとは接続が差し込みでは無くマグネットタイプの為、脱着が比較的容易です。

ThinkPad Tablet 1838CTO 3G+Wifi 4.0アップデート

先週末よりThinkPad Tabletのアンドロイドが４．０にアップデートが可能になりました。そこで本日、早速行ってみました。

３Gは、NTTDocomoで１２８ｋの契約です。（ＷｉＦｉで接続は考えましたが今回はこれに挑戦です）

ＡＭ１０：００から開始してＰＭ４：００に終了しました。アップデート事態は１５分位です。何せダウンロードの容量が約３５０ＭＢ位有ります。予想以上の容量でした。内心は１～２時間位と想像してましたがやはりＯＳです。この位の容量で終わって良かったです。

アップデート後のファーストインプレッションは、画面周りの一部のアイコンのデザインの変更を感じました。画面の表示方法も一部変更になっています。ＯＳのスムーズさは以前より良くなった印象です。

３Ｇでの接続時の反応が今までより早くなったように感じます。

今後、スマートフォンの４．０バージョンと比べてみたいと思います。
